ตั้งแต่  7 มีนาคม 2508  สมาคมโรคเบาหวานแห่งประเทศไทยฯ ทำกิจกรรมต่างๆมากมาย อาทิ เช่น เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานประชุมวิชาการ IDF  จัดตั้งเครือข่ายบริบาลผู้เป็นเบาหวานชนิดที่1 และผู้เป็นเบาหวานตั้งแต่อายุไม่กิน30ปี รวมกลุ่มเพื่อนช่วยเพื่อนให้ผู้เป็นเบาหวานมีทักษะในการดูแลตนเอง  พัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ผ่านการเรียนรู้ ระบบทางไกล e-learning ป้องกันเชิงรุกในด้านเบาหวานชนิดที่2ให้เข้าสู่ระยะสงบ จัดตั้งกองทุนเพื่อให้ชีวิตใหม่คนไข้เบาหวาน ตลอดจนจัดงานวันเบาหวานโลกเป็นประจำทุกปี

60th Anniversary of the Diabetes Association of Thailand 

Since March 7, 1965, the Association has undertaken numerous initiatives, such as hosting the IDF scientific conference, establishing a care network for individuals with Type 1 diabetes and those diagnosed before the age of 30, and organizing peer-support groups to help patients develop self-care skills. Additionally, the Association enhances the capabilities of medical personnel through e-learning systems and promotes proactive prevention strategies aimed at achieving remission for Type 2 diabetes.
